I had it water cut to true it up, $25.00 for that. (It still measures 18"+) So I ha.I have the stone with the shaft through it and nothing else. I paid $10 just for the stone, and I'm pretty sure that it's out of round.I actually have eight of them ( all in as good of shape as the one in the photo, one is new old stock ) and i paid between 50 to 90 dollars apiece.I have three stones so far but only one set up with a hand crank which I take to demos, If i need to sharpen or polish anything up I invite the kid.Just located one at one of my favorite antique dealers for 15 dollars.
